Cook County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is named for former Civil War general Philip Cook of the Confederate States Army. Reed Bingham State Park is in Cook County. ==Geography== According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of , of which is land and (2.6%) is water. The western half of Cook County, roughly west of Interstate 75, is located in the Little River sub-basin of the Suwannee River basin.
